Hi, everyone!
I trust that you all had a wonderful Christmas and are on the road to a fabulous New Year - may it be a spectacular journey!
This blog of mine has really been neglected - my bad!
So, for now, I would encourage you all to stop by my facebook page and peek at my new designs. If there is something that you'd really like to have made, send me an email or a conversation through Etsy and I would be more than happy to oblige.

A huge thank you to all of you for your support and business in 2010. Here's to a foofy and frilly, tutu-filled 2011!
Cheers!

Simply Flattered...
I apologize for my silence here on the blog. In all honesty, I've been tutu'ing like a fiend! Thank you all for passing the word on and for supporting me in this fun hobby that I have.
Have you ever noticed how the smallest of gestures can seem really big and meaningful? Over the past week and a bit, I've had the opportunity to experience this. One of my tutus has been featured in a treasury on Etsy not once, but twice!! It made me feel very proud of what I create and very flattered and humbled!
First of all, workingwoman featured the "Rainbow Bright" tutu in her "Rainy Days" treasury. Secondly, Jess at StonesStuff, featured the "Rainbow Bright" in her "For the Love of Tutus and Tulle" treasury.
Perhaps you're wondering what is so darn special about the "Rainbow Bright" tutu. Well, first of all, it is a fabulously cool tutu. In fact, I think that this tutu would look awesome on an edgy teenage girl or young woman with a truly edgy sense of style. But secondly, it's all about the photography. Vanessa Neufeld at VPhotographic took some brilliant photographs of a young woman wearing this tutu. She has a remarkable eye and a true gift for snapping some fantastic images. Not only does the model look hot wearing this fluffy confection, but the tutu looks hot wearing this gorgeous model! So, thank you Vanessa. You rock!
That being said, I'm working on more orders and enjoying every minute of it. A new shipment of tulle and ribbon came in the other week and the new colours that I've received are great! Now in stock, emerald green (or rider green, if you prefer), aqua, rosy mauve, yellow, shocking pink, turquoise, apple green (very bright lime), as well as my usual stock of ivory, white, black, red, hot pink, pink, light pink, purple, brown, teal, magenta, coral, smoke blue.
Is anyone interested in a "Pixie Hollow" tutu? Yes, Pixie Hollow. A Tinkerbell theme with greens, yellow and a hint of white! How fun would that be?
Thank you again for your referrals and word of mouth advertising. I appreciate it so very much.

Hooray!
Well, great news, everyone. TuTuTerrific by Julie finally hit 100 "likes" on facebook! I must say that the random number generator is my new best friend. Congratulations to Raina Brown McKinnon on winning the freebie!
I know that I've been rather negligent on keeping up the blog thus far, and updating the newest photos. I'm still trying to figure out how to organize everything on here, and showcase what I've made, what colours are available, as well as pricing and sizes.
I'm also in the process of opening up my own Etsy shop. That way, if I don't know you, or you don't live in the area, then it will be much easier to complete a transaction using PayPal. I haven't had a chance to post anything for sale there as of yet, but I'm working on it. Feel free to check the site from time to time.
Orders for tutus and general interest has really been picking up, so I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me and humouring me in this latest creativity venture of mine.
Here's a couple of photos to peak your interest. These are two of my latest creations, "Sunrise, Sunset" and "Blue-hemian Rhapsody", being modelled on my latest purchase, a metal dress form, which I love!
Keep in touch, email with any questions, concerns, or orders! Oh - one more thing - if you're thinking that you'd like to purchase a tutu for a Christmas gift, get the measurements and colour
choices to me sooner, rather than later. I've already got a few requests that I'm working on.
